Dog Grooming with Deanna
All new grooming clients get a FREE consultation with Deanna; which can be scheduled at her grooming room!
A time, day, and location will be negotiated between Deanna and the client for the consultation. Availability for a consultation will be shared via email upon your request for booking.
Consultations are for new clients. If you are a recurring client and have questions about a new service, you may schedule a phone appointment with Deanna, and if needed can schedule another meeting. Deanna will be checking..

PLEASE NOTE* important information regarding our grooms...
-First time grooms usually take a little longer than a typical groom. This is to ensure a pleasant experience as well as to allow time for your pup to gain trust in Deanna. Once they become comfortable and familiar the process is much easier and faster!!
-We ARE NOT set up like a grooming salon. Deanna is our only groomer and does not have an extra pair of helping hands for the grooms. Time may lengthen due to one on one conflicts that may arise with the dogs or due to neighborhood occurrences since Deanna grooms out of her OWN HOME.
–If your dog will require extra work due to coat conditions, behavioral issues, medical issues, or age, there will be additional fees quoted on your price!
LOCATION&TIME SLOT OPTIONS!
Our grooming location is through Deanna’s home, where she will groom your dog in her grooming room! Deanna is located in Pottstown, PA, right by the Hill School. You will receive text updates about your dog the entire time! Deanna will coordinate with you a pick up time once the service is complete.
PLEASE NOTE* important information regarding our groom location...
-Since Deanna grooms out of her own home, some grooms may not be suitable for older dogs, dogs that have a hard time with stairs, or dogs that have an issue with tubs and may continuously jump out. If the dog is small/medium, Deanna can use her personal grooming room tub to complete the bath, but if a bigger or more boisterous dog needs a bath, she uses the bathtub in her home that is located up a flight of stairs. Please be mindful of this if you think your dog would not do well going up and down stairs or in the tub.
-Deanna also is a pet sitter with Tal’s Pets, and has varying time slots open daily! She is typically always about 2 weeks booked out from your inquiry. If you wish to book, please inquire to talspetsco@gmail.com

Single Services
Single Grooming Services
–Nail Clip with included dremmel: $15
–Ear Cleaning with pulling of hair: $15 (can not if ear infection)
–Brush out: $25 (base price if no matts or deshedding) More will be quoted if excessive dematting/deshedding is required. *Dematt&Deshedd is quoted based upon the dog and the condition of its coat, (examples can range from $25-$55 depending on condition, size, and breed)
–Face/Feet/Potty: $25
–Matt-free shave down: This is priced based upon the size. A dog that has to be shaved due to matts will have an estimated $10-$30 added charge due to time, injury, concern, difficulty, and pet cooperation.
–Bath ONLY (includes blow dry, brush, and nails)

Boarding and Daycare Services
If your dog is with us at boarding or daycare, they can come back home fresh and stylin!

All boarders and daycare pups have access to all grooming services! You can add a groom onto your boarding/daycare service when scheduling.

Our sitters will transport your dog to get groomed on your chosen day/time!

There are additional fees in addition to the grooming service you schedule, due to our sitters traveling and transporting your dog to our groomer.

You may pick the day and time for the service, such as if your dog is boarding, you would like the groom on their last full day.
Full Grooming Services
Time for a clean up! Your dog will get the most personalized groom to ensure all of you and your pup's needs will be fulfilled!

Blow out/fluff, brush, clean ears, pads shaven, trim nails, brushing, haircut

Regular bath with Fresh Pet Shampoo, Conditioner, and Cologne

Small Dog: $60 (weights/sizes 1-30 pounds)
Medium Dog: $70 (weight/sizes 31-55 pounds)
Large Dog: $80 (weight/sizes above 56-89 pounds)
XL Dogs: $90 (examples such as Newfoundland, Bernese Mt. dog, Great Pyreness, XL Goldens, etc. Dogs typically over 90 pounds will be considered XL, and this extra charge is since they are bigger and have a lot more hair!)
The prices are the standard base price depending on the size of the dog. Your dog will receive a final quote depending on if they will require extra work due to coat conditions, behavioral issues, medical issues, or age.
Additional Fees
-Behavioral fee: if your dog has behavioral issues when it comes to grooming, there will be a small fee based upon their behavior (anxiety, rejection, biting, constant barking, aggression, etc). Deanna will talk to the client before adding on any charge if it is during the groom. If the behavior is shared prior to the groom, the quote will be added in addition to the base price of what is scheduled. Typically it will be due to if the groom takes longer due to behavior, if special requests are necessary, or if they consistently bite or fight. The fee will be quoted before booking or during the groom if the behavioral issues were not shared upon requesting the service.
-Medical Conditions: if your dog has a pre-existing medical issue, (examples such as ear infection, torn ACL, blind, etc), that interferes with a grooming service, there will be an additional charge on your quoted service price.
-Puppies! If your dog is under 1 year old, there is a small grooming fee for ANY service. $5 extra.
-Breed/Coat: if your dog is a certain breed or has bad coat conditions that require extra work due to brushing, matts, unique styles, etc. Deanna may contact you for an extra charge based upon the scenario. This would be discussed prior to the charge. The price will be quoted based upon how much extra work needs to be done. If the condition is shared prior to the groom, the quote will be added in addition to the base price of what is scheduled. The fee will be quoted before booking or during the groom if the coat conditions were not shared upon requesting the service.
IF there is a dog client that is unmanageable and the groomer can not effectively provide the service requested, if more than 30 minutes is spent on the client the owner must pay for a full service. Money does not have to be accepted if less than 30 minutes is spent.
