Meet The Team
All Tal's Pets sitters are independent contractors that are covered under our Petcare Insurance, as well as undergo a training and background checks upon joining us! Our pet sitters also are certified professional pet sitters via petsittercourse.com.
All sitters have a maximum travel radius from their home location. They may agree to help out with a job outside their service area, but in this case there is an additional travel fee that must be agreed upon by the owner when provided with availability and a quote!
Natalya
Hi! I am the owner of Tal's Pets. I have been working with animals for over 20 years. I have been a neighborhood pet-sitter, volunteered at the Perkiomenville SPCA for 2 years, worked at dog boarding and daycare facilities for 6 years, have interned at Red Creek Wildlife Rehabilitation Center and Briar Bush Nature Center, and have been an educator at Green Valley's Watershed Association. At these positions, I have received hands-on experience with a wide variety of animals; ranging from small to large, wild to domestic, scaly to furry. I also have a Bachelor's degree in Wildlife Conservation and Management from Delaware Valley University, and my Master's in Biological Science Education from Gwynedd Mercy University. I also love sports! I have coached field hockey for over 10 years; from youth leagues, to the high school level. I currently coach both field hockey and lacrosse at the Episcopal Academy, where I have been since 2022. I currently reside in Montgomery County, and soley work and manage the office!
Deanna
Deanna has been an animal lover her whole life. Her passion grew from her experiences with her grandmother, who rescued and saved animals such as squirrels and turtles, and has had dogs of her own as far back as she can remember. Deanna has always felt a special connection with animals and it has always been so easy for her to gain their trust. Animals have always been a part of her family, not simply something that is "owned". She has raised dogs big and small, cats, bearded dragons, iguanas, snakes, you name it! Besides caring for pets, Deanna has been grooming for 13 years. Caring for animals is what has always made her happy, and she wishes to help care for your animal friend to make them happy and comfortable while you are away! Tim was born and raised in the Philadelphia area but really discovered his love for animals after moving to NYC and becoming a full-time pet care professional. He has had several of his own cats and dogs over the years and knows what a special relationship and responsibility pet ownership can be.
He takes pride in really getting to know your pets and providing a warm and safe environment for them so you can rest easy while away from your loved ones. He has volunteered at many animal rescues throughout the Northeast and in his spare time enjoys reading, traveling, exercise, and embracing new experiences. Karen
Karen is a married mother of 4 living in Lansdale since 2016. Previously a Philadelphia resident, she grew up in various homes with small yards but always had at least one pet. Over the years, her pets have included cats, dogs, chameleons, mice, birds, gerbils, hamsters, fish, a snake, and about 25 rabbits. Karen followed in her mother and grandmother's footsteps in being an animal lover since she was a young child and was known to be late for school because she would come upon a baby bird or squirrel that needed rescuing! To this day her own children have that same love for animals and together they often bring them in, nurse them to health, and return them to the wild or nearby animal refuges. Presently, Karen is an in-home caregiver (to humans), a photographer, and cares for pets part-time. Full-time, she has her own furbaby; a dog named Simon. Simon is a 7 year old lab/cattle herder mix with high anxiety and is accustomed to being administered medication. She's comfortable with doing the same for any of your pets and looks forward to caring for any, and all kinds of animals, needing love and attention while you're away. Maddy works as a registered nurse in Philadelphia. She has a BSN and BA in Biology. When not working, Maddy also volunteers for Main Line Animal Rescue! In addition, she has successfully fostered 2 dogs within the past year. While Maddy cannot have her own dog right now; fostering, volunteering, and pet sitting provides her with enough pet love for now! She has also grown up with dogs, has trained dogs, as well as has pet sat on her own when she was younger. Maddy is located in Exton with a 12 mile max radius.

As an adult, she continued to be a pet owner of a chocolate lab. Natalie routinely takes care of neighborhood pets and has proven herself a reliable pet sitter.
She loves the outdoors and takes full advantage of beautiful days. She loves taking daily walks, playing with dogs, and watching her two boys play hockey and baseball. Naya has always loved animals. She grew up with many different types of pets from dogs and
cats to reptiles, fish, rodents, and birds. She has a 17 year dog, Keke, which has made her
understand the importance of personalized care for animals. She was the neighborhood pet sitter
growing up since the age of 10 walking, feeding and caring for their pets. Naya currently has a
dog, three cats, a snake, a bearded dragon and a hamster. She loves all types of animals. Naya is
an environmental science major at Temple University. She loves going to small farms to visit

Judith always knew she loved animals, but did not become a pet owner
until adulthood. She currently has one large adopted doodle mix and a
cat. Judith adopted both a senior aussie mix and senior pit bull
previously. Over the years, she has fostered a variety of dog breeds,

Marisa is a health and physical education teacher and a mom of 3 boys. She grew up with dogs, cats, rabbits, a duck and 2 turtles. Her house contains 2 cats, a rabbit, amphibians and reptiles. Meet Rachel! She is originally from south eastern PA, and has a background of 10+ years experience working with horses and on horse farms as well as a lifetime of experience caring for all types of critters. Emily is a college student studying psychology. She has a big love for animals, as she has grown up with them her whole life. Emily has three Shiz-Tzus who she loves very much; Addie, Finnley, and Percy. Percy has always been her little best friend for as long as she has had him! Jodi has been around animals her whole life. Her grandparents owned a working farm where she helped raise rabbits, chickens, and pigs. There has always been a dog around in the house, even though she has never owned one of her own. Jodi is the first person her friends call whenever they need someone to puppy sit or take their fur babies for a walk. She has owned her own home based business for over 11 years. Laura has always been a huge animal lover. As a child she used to ride her bike around the neighborhood stopping to play with all the neighbors’ dogs that she got to know well, and she would walk some of the neighborhood dogs. She has had many different pets all throughout her life including dogs, cats, hamsters, bunnies, fish, parakeets, lizards, mice, and chickens. Currently she has two cats that she rescued as kittens, Kit and Brooklyn. She has been pet sitting for about 20 years, and she also spent time while being home during the covid lockdown assisting a local rescue with fostering kittens until they found loving homes (one which happened to be hers) She also volunteers for Animal House Project, which is a nonprofit food pantry for pets located in Pottstown. Lynette has a Bachelor’s degree in Animal and Poultry Science from Virginia Tech. She has worked in Laboratory Animal Medicine for 18 years and has been able to work at various locations such at Temple University, University of Pennsylvania, NIH and Baylor College of Medicine in Houston TX. Lynette has since transitioned to more of a training/teaching role at Harcum College in the Veterinary Nursing department. She loves animals and has always been an animal lover since she was a child. She even had dreams of becoming a veterinarian, but really didn’t have the grades to pursue this. Lynette has been lucky for all the opportunities that she has been afforded in working with animals because it is her small way of making an impact in this world. She currently has several pets including a Shih Tzu, Rabbit, and 2 guinea pigs. When not working, you can find her teaching Zumba, volunteer coaching, or doing something to stay busy. Amanda has enjoyed caring for animals since she was a young child. She started volunteering as a foster parent for the Animal Coalition of Delaware County as part of her grad project for Upper Darby High School. She has fostered multiple sets of guinea pigs until completed adoption as well as fostered one dog named Remi who she later adopted herself. She worked for a local pet sitting company in 2014 where she gained experience working with dogs of all breeds, cats, and other small animals. Jamie started working with dogs when she was in about second grade! Her best friend was a part of the seeing eye dog program. Every year, she would get a new puppy to help with house training and basic training. After college, Jamie worked at a doggie daycare and training facility for about 4 years. She has a bachelor’s degree in speech and hearing science as well as one in psychology. Fun fact; Jamie did a final project on off leash training with her own dog! She completely changed career paths and decided to coach college softball. She began as an assistant at SUNY Cortland, where she actually went to school and played for 4 years. Jamie finished her masters in Sport management and administration, then came home to be the Head Softball Coach at Widener University. Jamie is located in Chester, and has an 8 mile travel radius. Lauren Jean is a long time pet lover with a compassion for all animals-big and small! Since 2016 Lauren has been a trusted house and pet sitter in Montgomery county. She has cared for exotic, farm, and domestic animals in the last eight years. Lauren is experienced at administering all kinds of medications. Growing up Lauren tended to her own lop eared rabbits, cats, turtles, and golden retrievers. She has took responsibility for all their grooming needs. Laurens favorite part of being a pet sitter is learning about each pets personality and special quirks. It was never a question what her career path would be! Her combined love of photography has made her a favorite choice amongst pet owners-no one can make your pet look cuter than Lauren! All Amanda's life, she has had a love for animals. From catching tiny toads to being pulled in a sled by her first dog, a German Shepherd named Caesar. She has owned many unique pets. Amanda once had an Iguana that used to stay on the property outside and then scratched the door to come in. He also slept with her at night above my head on my pillow. His name was Ralph. She also had a special cat named Tigey who always comforted her and would follow her to the bus stop during the week. Amanda has had many special pets, and at one time simultaneously, she owned two dogs, and seven cats, a tegus, and tortoises. Melissa was born and raised in the Telford PA area. At around 10 years old, she moved with her family to Hereford PA. From a very young age, Melissa has had a great love for animals of all kinds. She has taken in stray kittens over the years, and continues to dream of a future rescue. She has an 18 year old house cat named Mittens who she lovingly took in as a stray. Sam has had pets, (dogs and cats), growing up as a child and her love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. She has a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. Alicia is a loving, passionate, and caring animal lover who has spent her life around various animals. Growing up, she always had cats and dogs at her house. Throughout high school, she spent lots of time volunteering at LaMancha animal shelter and pet sitting for friends and neighbors, which allowed her to care for many dogs, cats, ducks, other birds, and occasionally alpacas. Alicia recently graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Ursinus College, majoring in environmental science and marine science. Alicia also has a passion for dancing, as she has been a dancer for 19 years and studied dance in college. She currently is pursuing her bachelor's degree in psychology at West Chester University, where she strives for a career in criminal psychology. In her past, Alex has provided care for animals of all shapes, age, and sizes, such as cats, dogs, and horses by feeding, grooming, walks, overnights, and drop-ins. She also brings personal experience from caring for her own pets, a 12-year-old golden doodle, one-year-old labradoodle, and a 10-year-old cat. Outside of pet care, Alex is free spirit who lives an active lifestyle, which she has not only spent playing field hockey, but recently ending her first study abroad experience in London. Her ability to adapt to new environments has given her skills that are essential in providing a positive experience that’s catered to both you and your pet! Alex is located in West Chester with a 12 mile travel radius.
Ellen is a Pittsburgh native with an Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology from the Veterinary Technical Institute of Pittsburgh. After graduating, she worked as a surgical technician at a low-cost spay/neuter clinic. She has loved animals all her life, and is planning on returning to school to study ornithology. Ellen is most proud of her time interning at the Center for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife, or C.R.O.W, where she worked with owls, hawks, songbirds, raccoons, possums, tortoises, and snakes in Florida. She owns a very mischievous brown tabby cat named Hawkeye Pierce. Ellen is committed to quality, care, and compassion toward all animals. She is located in Royersford and has a 12 mile travel radius.
